We are currently seeking a multi-combination vehicle operator to join our growing team and assist in ensuring the delivery of fresh dairy products in a safe and reliable manner.
The Role:
We are searching for a Linehaul Dairy Transport Tanker Operator who can safely operate a range of vehicles within our fleet, ranging from a standard B-double up to an AB Triple.
As a dairy tanker operator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe and hygienic transport of raw and processed milk across regional and interstate routes. You will be required to adhere to all relevant food safety standards and regulatory requirements, and uphold our company standards in relation to Fatigue Management, Safety, and delivering on our promise to our customers for reliable and professional service.
This role includes a mix of local and longer-haul linehaul work, depending on scheduling and demand.
Our company utilises mobile phone applications for vehicle pre-starts and fault reporting as well as electronic work diaries. Reducing the need to complete daily paperwork.
To be considered for this position within our team you would need to display experience in or have the ability and eagerness to learn:
- Operation of vehicles up to multi-Combination
- Experience in dairy or food-grade tanker work (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards for food transport
- Current SLP induction
- Operation of Tankers
- Flexibility to work with scheduling team to complete daily tasks
In additional the candidate would preferably possess or have the willingness to obtain:
- Commercial drivers medical
- Basic fatigue Management training
- Current terminal induction to Ampol and IOR.
Mandatory pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing will be conducted prior to commencement, along with Company Induction into our fleet management systems.
